Daniel Florance

Research and Extension Officer (Cowra)

Daniel is a Research and Extension Officer with The Australian National University’s Sustainable Farms project. He is based in Cowra, where he manages several long-term monitoring programs. He previously worked with the Conservation and Landscape Ecology Group at ANU’s Fenner School of Environment and Society.

Daniel completed a Bachelor of Environmental Science, graduating with first class honours from the University of Sydney. He has a strong interest in the conservation of native ecosystems, using scientific research to provide practical evidence-based solutions to effectively integrate conservation within agricultural landscapes.
